Sails

In case you weren't aware, sailboats need sails to get from point A to point B. Pura Vida has four sails in its inventory: main, jib, code D, and the screecher. I won't bore you with the details on the specific purpose of each sail. When you see Doug next, he'll be happy to do so.


The next few pics were taken before we left Cape Town. We did multiple outings on Pura Vida before we left Cape Town to try out various aspects of the boat. On one of the outings, Dallan of Ullman Sails came along to supervise the rigging of the sails and make sure everything was in good order.
