So I've had a few questions that I'll answer now.

What are the stars like out there on the sea?

Much of this journey has been cloudy, so we don't always see the stars. The two nights since we left St Helena have been clear, and the stars are shining brightly. It's so clear you can even see satellites going overhead if you have the patience to look for them.

Have you seen any UFO/UAP's?

Not yet, unfortunately. But we have ten more days at sea, so you never know. When I get home, I'm going to read this book on USO's, Unidentified Submerged Objects.

Have we had big waves? Calm seas? Good winds?

Prior to St Helena, the swells were big and unrelenting. So much so that they made me seasick, see one of my previous posts. The swells since St Helena have been relatively small, luckily. We haven't had any storms or really rough weather, though it did rain briefly one morning. The winds after Cape Town were robust, but we are entering the doldrums now that we left St Helena. Captain Steve says we need to consistently make over six nautical miles/hour to make good headway. To do that, we're probably going to have to use the diesel engines much of the way, along with the sails.
